What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
–Romans 8:31-32
What if you lived with the belief that God is for you?
Imagine how would things change if you lived letting God fight your battles for you. You would see the world in a more positive light, because you would always look through the filter of God’s love for humanity. You might handle situations differently, relying more on God and less on money, relationships, and material possessions.
Let today’s verse remind you that the God you serve literally emptied heaven of its greatest treasure — Jesus — to redeem you from your sins.
God is the Almighty. He is the Eternal. The Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the End.
So no matter what is going on in your life, remember what Paul said, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” In other words, nothing and no one can beat you down if you let God fight your battles for you.
Do not have any doubts about God’s ability or willingness to do so, because “He who didn’t spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how would He not also with Him freely give us all things?”
Prayer
Almighty God, Help me completely believe that You are with me. I willingly put all my faith and trust in You. I trust You to fight my battles. Please lead me where I should go. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
