Let those who favor my righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually, “May The LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!”
–Psalm 35:27
Today’s verse is only one of many Psalms that shout for joy and gladness because of God’s goodness and love. Others include:
Psalm 103:1-2: Praise the LORD, my soul! All that is within me, praise His holy name! Praise the LORD, my soul, and don’t forget all His benefits….
Psalm 100:1-5: Shout for joy to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness. Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God. It is He who has made us, and we are His. We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good. His loving kindness endures forever, His faithfulness to all generations.
Say these words today. Say them with sincerity and joy. Memorize these words and let them be your motto… your mission… your life’s work.
Prayer
Holy God, I praise You for Your holy goodness and for Your constant presence in my life. I pray that I will always see You for who You are; the one true God of the universe who loves me so much and gives me eternal life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
